Makes sense - Sunday Night Football seemed to be going well for him. Surprised that NBC moved him out of that show.

MLB network is starting to look like a flea market for aging broadcasters and ex ball players. Overmann will fit right in.

The paper toss to end the briefing would be fun.

It's not hard to figure out why liberal talk radio isn't successful -- listeners don't want to hear hosts and guests being rational and accepting alternative viewpoints.

But put a screaming dipshit, like Limbaugh, on the air, allow him to call everyone who opposes his view an America-hating communist, and you've got something. Conservative morons will tune in to cheer and everyone else will stop for a few a seconds so later in the day they can say to their friends, "You're not gonna believe what I heard this dumbass on radio say today ..."

Works the same for TV, too. Smart people simply can't imagine standing before a chalkboard on live TV concocting ridiculous conspiracy theories that the average eighth grader could poke a hole through.

It's the great flaw in liberals: They simply can't act stupid enough to achieve media success.

I figure MSNBC goes the way of the dodo in under a year.

Morning Joe will kick around but will go to CNBC eventually.

After that, Comcast will run out the clock on the remaining contracts and then MSNBC will be done.

I always love when liberals break out this theory.

I think the flaw of liberal radio is that most of the masses do not like to be lectured to or told what to do.

Take the poor schmo working in an office cubicle- He leaves the office at 6pm after being yelled at by his boss all day. He jumps in car and wife calling him on cell asking when he is getting home and he needs to stop at grocery store.

The last thing he wants is to turn on radio to hear Al Franken lecturing him about laws that will further control his life.

I could see CNBC putting on commentary type shows like those now on MSNBC in prime time if they ever decided to kill MSNBC. Matthews used to be on CNBC and they don't draw flies in prime time now.

But, Morning Joe wouldn't fit on CNBC. That's when CNBC is doing financial news and getting high advertising rates because of the demographics of their audience at that time.

And, if folks aren't watching CNBC in the morning for financial news, they're unlikely to switch over later in the day. It would wipe out their ratings for the entire day.

It trading firms all over the country CNBC is the default channel that is on all day.

If Morning Joe were on, the channel would change to Bloomberg or FoxBusiness (assuming they got rid of Imus).

In, perhaps, his finest role, Ben Affleck as Keith Olberman:
