High school sports reporter - Fayetteville, N.C.

    Love the Fayetteville sports section.

    Traffic in that town is awful. You're fairly close to Southern Pines if golf is your thing.

    Good staff to work with and pretty good gig. The high school sports in this area are fairly good as well, which can be a plus.

    Plus, you are also about 90 minutes from the coast and two hours or so from Charlotte.

    As far as what I know about this gig: Fayetteville isn't the greatest town, but it's a great paper and Todd would be an awesome guy to work for. I heard he's got about 160 applications to sort through at this point.

    I just wanted to let everyone know that if you want to send me a resume/clips but haven't already it would be a good idea to do that ASAP. We're going to be trimming down to five or six finalists some time next week. And so far I've received 176 resumes.

    Looks like they have it down to seven finalists. Good luck to whomever gets this job. Seems like Todd is a great guy.
