Why I still like newspapers

    I loved this article. I'm just a regular reader of the newspaper, everyday since 6th grade, 35 years ago. It's well written articles like this that make me want to keep my subscription.

    Great story. Of course, except for Abbott, none of us are reading it in a newspaper.

    I don't get this line of thinking.
    20 years ago, you weren't reading it in the paper unless you lived in or around DC or NYC.

    I would have, but my subscription recently ran out. They refuse to negotiate on the price for a renewal, so I'm done. I held on as long as I could.

    The Post is relatively cheap compared to a lot of other newspapers. And way better. And it gives you great bang for your buck. I just don't get that.

    Still free. Why pay for something that's free? The problem that has killed the business.
    Saslow is ridiculously good.
    If I did have a "supscription" it would be to the Post.
