Hershiser and Andy Hawkins each pitch 10 scoreless innings. The 10th inning for Hershiser is his 59th consecutive scoreless, breaking Drysdale's record.

Man, this was one good thread. Although I'm not so comfortable with the idea that it's a year and a half old ... has it been that long?

I really wanted to do Merkle's Boner, but can't find the box score online. I also wanted to do the Canseco HR off the head, but figured that would have been too tough. This is neither of those.

    T Lowery CF 3 2 1 1
    W Boggs 3B 4 2 3 4
    T Graffanino 2B 5 0 1 0
    F McGriff DH 5 0 1 3
    B Trammell LF 4 2 2 0
    P Sorrento 1B 4 0 1 1
    J Flaherty C 5 1 2 1
    D Martinez RF 5 1 1 0
    A Ledesma SS 4 2 2 0

I probably would have got that one. Carlos Martinez did not hit a lot of home runs.
