Worst movie ever

Discussion in 'Anything goes' started by TheSportsPredictor, Jan 21, 2010.

  1. Great call on "The Happening." Definitely one of the worst ever. In fact, M. Night has a number of movies that deserve dishonorable mention. Signs would be the first that comes to my mind after The Happening.

Yes, Lady in the Water belongs in the discussion too. And for comedy, this is one of the great books of the last 10 years. I like Michael Bamberger, but this book...yeesh:

Five pages and no mention of this steaming pile of trash?

Made me reconsider my love of the original. I won't go near the third movie in the series.

The Houston Post called this 1994 movie "genuinely funny." It shut down in 1995. Coincidence?

Could have been quotes out of context. For all we know, the review said, "Pauly Shore's 'In the Army Now' is about as genuinely funny as cancer of the rectum."

Sadly, I thought it was going to be great, with J-Lo and Affleck. Fell asleep in the theater about 20 minutes through, then gave it a second shot on DVD and actually got so bored, I couldn't finish it. So I haven't seen it all the way through, but the 20-30 minutes I saw was pretty bad.

I've only seen bits of "In the Army Now" on TV, but the sad fact is, Shore is only the third most annoying person in the cast behind Lori Petty and Andy Dick.

    I find Lori Petty attractive.
    Is that wrong?
