When did the Cleveland Cavs get a sword in their logo?

Find a team who has changed less than the LA Clippers.

I don't think its a bad logo and scheme at all.

And really, you'd have to include their last two years in San Diego. All they did to the logo when they moved was change "San Diego" to "Los Angeles"

You think that's wild. Have you checked out the King of Hearts recently in a deck of cards? Wait till you see what they have him doing.

Except that it's a total knockoff of the Lakers logo. That, plus you can do so much better with the name "Clippers," which conjures up images of ships and sea.

I hope the team didn't pay too much for this logo

This may be the best all time

The San Diego Clippers used this logo, inspired in part by Christopher Cross' epic shit-pop song "Sailing," during their first years on the west coast. They also kept the Buffalo Braves' blue-and-orange color scheme.

After a while, they did a redesign, subbed out red for orange and came up with the current logo...except of course for "San Diego" instead of "Los Angeles."

I always thought the LA Clippers had one of the cooler, more underrated uni and logo schemes in sports. Classic colors and simple design that looks good compared to the multi-hued monstrosities worn by some other teams.

Just in case there was any doubt as to who was the varsity and who was the junior varsity team. I'm amazed the NBA even allowed it.

The Chiefs helmet/white jersey is probably my favorite uniform in pro sports.

They bought it at the Buffalo Sabres' yard sale.
