Final Four and NCAA Title Game Thread

Without looking at any numbers, is Lawson the MVP of the tourney?

 

This whole tournament has mostly been a dud. This blowout is a fitting end.

I wouldn't rule out Ellington. The MOP is given for the Final Four, not the tourney.

 

I know everybody has said this tourney has sucked, I guess because of the lack of close games or Cinderellas or whatever. Maybe so. But I still like the intensity of a team that's blowing out its opponent. Plus the Mo-Conn, Kansas-Michigna State, Pitt-Nova games were outstanding. Sorry. I still love the hoops.

 

I'd have an easier time buying this if this were an all-time great team laying this kind of beating. There hasn't been such a team in the men's game, IMO, since Indiana's 76 perfect season.

 

I won't argue that. I still say I just like watching the tourney. No great teams, but a lot of equally matched teams.

 

CBS is saying, "We paid $6 B for this?"

 

Damn, I can actually go to bed early on the night of the title game.

 

I guess it's not going to be a problem if I fall asleep before the game ends.

 

I love the tournament too and there have been good games, but as far as tournaments go, this one has been pretty weak. No Cinderellas, few upsets early on, not many buzzer beaters and no great games from the Elite 8 on, save for Nova-Pitt.
