    Don't be so sure about that. There could be an internal promotion, and then the position vacated by the promotion would be filled.

    Drip, since you're such a big apologist for Rob (assuming you really aren't him) you can expect some heat for defending someone who ought to be booted out of journalism.

    Rob is desperately trying to get hired by MLB site. He's also supposed to write an internet column for a local TV website, only they're in for a surprise when they see just how much editing this guy needs.

    I see Rob Parker as a success story. For the last 10 years or so he made a terrific income from newspaper, radio and TV work. Now it's time to do something else, but for a while there, he was a lottery winner.
