It's hard for a sandwich to be "moronic."
It'd be silly to say the Primanti's folks are moronic, since they've now got 15 or 16 restaurants.
Overrated? It beats the bejeezus out of Cincinnati chili. It certainly has more flair than In-N-Out burger, and it's at least as appetizing. It's better than the standard Cheez-Whiz philly cheesesteak.
As low-rent regional cuisine goes, I'd say it ranks pretty high.
