There are many. Mario Elie is one who comes to mind. Dude was like a 7th round pick (back when the draft lasted that long) and after a few years in the alphabet soup leagues (CBA, USBL, Portugal, etc) he made it with Golden State and stuck around to play 10 NBA seasons. Now he's an NBA assistant.

Sam Mitchell, the head coach of Toronto now, was a third rounder who played 12 NBA seasons.

    There are many, many more.

Sarunas Marciulionis was a sixth round pick in 1987 as was Sedale Threatt in 1983. The Clippers grabbed Tony Gwynn in the 10th round in 1981. He turned out to be pretty good.

The Knicks had two late round guys in a mid-80s draft who stuck around for a short while and had OK careers -- Ken "the Animal" Bannister and Eddie Lee Wilkins.
