Because of all the jibber jabber, I went and looked at the big lead.
What the hell is the deal with Paige Greenberg? That was odd, yet funny.
    As for the rest *shrug*

This topic only needs one response, one that has been used a few times already throughout this thread:

actually, it's very simple: bloggers are to journalism what security guards are to law enforcement.

    How very post-modern of you.

And the sportswriter might NEVER want to make a BLOGGER!!!! look bad, right? Because that never happened at that dump mlbtraderumors.com, right? That guy never got a big A's trade exclusive from a NY writer he trusted, only to learn the thing was a complete crock of shit, right?

They're not laughing with you, they're laughing at you.

  7. What's funny is I would never use another reporter as a source for a story. Never in a million years.

Yet, bloggers do and they treat the information like gold.

Remember guys, if the reporter can't get it into their own stories there is a reason why.

No shit, right? Don't you think if the FLA writer had the names of the kids, he'd, oh, I don't know, keep them to himself in hopes he could confirm the info then run it on his own? These fucking bloggers.

four out of the six we named won't be going to the FSU game.
Worst % than the LA Times on the Grimsley affidavit. Will be running an apology to Hayes and Fagg.

  12. Your rationalization is absurd. Completely idiotic.

You were completely reckless on this story and you better hope these guys, especially Fagg - who will probably be going into the draft - don't come after you for hurting their reputation.
