Easy hanging pitch to slam, but nicely played.

Late season at-bats, you need to deliver any way you can to produce. I'm just pleased and proud to be part of a thread like this and grateful to know an editor like Julio who has far surpassed his talent level with his hard work and desire.

If we can just keep up the useless banter here, maybe we'll still have this thread on the front page the next time the 'Bama Mobile job opens.

If you're pleased and proud, then you're probably just glad to be here, too, and are taking each of these one thread at a time.

Sorry, but I'm not looking ahead to the next job. I'm just worried about this one. I cant worry about the next Bama Mobile job yet.

IJAG, this in no way is meant as a slap at your or anyone you know. It's more of an inside joke than anything, and I guess I'm the only one who gets it.

I still know several folks whom Julio could hire.

I'm devastated. My life's dreams shattered.

Florence, though, is still out there for someone to grab.

What beat specifically did John cover in Florence? Alabama?

If so, was he there day-to-day? How do they handle it?

Frierson was the Auburn beat writer with some preps too and I think there might be some desk, but not sure how much...
Oh... that isn't Frierson in the pic
