Want to be a part of a fun, energetic and award-winning sports copy desk that produces two quality sections every day? Want to work on special sections and special pages in an area where prep and college sports are treated like the pros? Want to live in an area where outdoors and recreational activities abound?
The La Crosse Tribune, a 32,000 daily and 41,000 Sunday circulation paper nestled between the Mississippi River bluffs in southwestern Wisconsin, and the Winona Daily News, a 12,000 circulation daily located 27 miles away in southeastern Minnesota, has an opening for a sports copy editor.

The position will include slot and rim responsibilities for both sports sections, and be part of a team that consistently produces top-notch sections. Flexibility and willingness to explore new ideas is essential.

If this sounds like it’s a good fit for you, please send or e-mail a resume and design examples to Tammy Brown, Human Resources Director, La Crosse Tribune, 401 N. Third St., La Crosse, WI, 54601, or e-mail Tammy.brown@lee.net.

Agree, Lyman. Doesn't hurt that there are some good people in LaCrosse.

If anyone interviews there, a stop to the LaCrosse City Brewery is a must.
