    New York Times A1!

A version of this article appears in print on April 23, 2014, on page A1 of the New York edition with the headline: Amid Politics, Obama Drifted Away From Kin.

I was waiting and waiting and waiting for the zinger.

    I got it.

    He's the worst guy. Ever!

    No. Not at all.

It's about Auntie Zeituni. At a time like this, I think it's worth stopping to recognize this woman who fought the law and won. She didn't let an expired visa or deportation orders keep her from living the American Dream.

Most important is knowing what the president shot during his round.

She was heart broken over the divorce.

How about a second-day lede for the thread title, considering she died more than two weeks ago?

A good rim guy would've caught that.

My understanding is that you only went with a "second-day lede" if you understood your audience was already aware of the news, and you were doing continued reporting on the story.

I had not seen this news previously. Was it widely reported?
