    Thanks much everyone for the kind words here, on Facebook, on Twitter, via text, via e-mail. I'm excited and overwhelmed all at once.

    Am I crazy, or was there a post from Dick Whitman on here the first time I looked about sabermetrics? It gave me a chuckle because that was my editing test. They sent me an article about it. I tore it into a million pieces and sent it back. They said YOU'RE HIRED!!

    But seriously, thanks again. Eager to get going, not eager to leave here. Weird.

    And milehigh, I can't fire you - at least not until I nuke you know who for good. Who else will babysit him?
