    Create the sports section people will read and talk about as Sports Editor of The Bee-Picayune, an award-winning semiweekly newspaper in South Texas. Cover a wide variety of high school and junior college sports, plus help coordinate coverage for other weekly newspapers and a regional website. You'll do it all: event coverage, columns, features, photography and page design. Skills in videography and social media are a plus.

    The family-owned newspaper prints at its own state-of-the-art plan in Beeville. The editorial staff uses a Mac-based computer system and Indesign.

    Compensation is competitive, commensurate with experience and skills. A generous benefits packagei includes health insurance and 401(K), as well as quarterly profit-sharing bonuses.

    Beeville is less than an hour north of Corpus Christi and the Gulf. You can be in San Antonio in less than 90 minutes and in Austin in a little over two hours. Beeville Publishing's weekly newspapers are in adjacent counties.
