Doesn't help when you drop pitch-outs, either.

So did the Royals' worst base-running play of the night lead to their seven stolen bases?

Butler wanders off first, Hosmer gets thrown out at home and Soto injures his thumb on the tag.

Baseball can be such a strange game.

Hell of a night for me and the kid. We ran around the aisles for 20 minutes hugging strangers. He just drifted off to sleep.

Reality hits when he will, literally, wake up as I drop him off at school. Has a test he can't miss although the teachers gave him all study prep on Monday.

    An unbelievable memory for us.

I really think the Royals would have a chance to make a run this postseason if it not for Yost.

Sadly, I couldn't keep my eyes open past the eighth and missed the rest of the excitement. Such is the life when you have a toddler who will be running around at 6 a.m.
