That was personal? Sounded like an objective honest assessment.

In that case, I'll put it in bolder terms- the guy fucking sucks dong.
    He's hitting .171 in his last 718 at-bats.

I can't even remember the last Giants-Dodgers trade. Was it Tom Haller for Len Gabrielson?

The Giants are not giving up Kyle Crick for Alex Fricking Guerrero. Full stop.

Not just division rivals. We're talking a rivalry that goes back more than a century. Marichal-Rosebero. Thomson-Branca. The Durocher trade. Bill Terry asking if Brooklyn was still in the league. Oh, and two scumbags beating Bryan Stow to within an inch or two of his life.

    Not. Gonna. Happen.

You can say that, but the Braves traded Jeff Francoeur to their rival Mets for Ryan Church not too long ago.

The Braves weren't even in the same division as the Mets until roughly 20 years ago.

We're talking 125 years of history that has usually been bitterly contested.

Setting aside the ridiculous notion of trading one of your best prospects to a team you're practically tied for first with (or at least were before this weekend), the whole reason the Dodgers didn't keep Guerrero in the spring is because he couldn't play second base. He's a shortstop, and is learning to play second in the minors.

At the time of the Francouer-to-the-Mets trade, both them and the Braves were below .500. Also, the Braves were desperate to get rid of Francouer before he became arbitration-eligible. If they couldn't have traded him, they would have non-tendered him.

The Dodgers have no reason to unload Guerrero. They've got all the money in the world.

But yeah, other than that, it's the exact same scenario.

Am I the only one who thought Frank Thomas gave a great HOF speech while Maddux and Glavine's speeches were worse than an awkward high school valedictorian speech?
