Who can screw up an order of Bud?

Who can screw up "no calls?"

Though, if it's a job I really care for, I feel it's all right to break the rule. Might as well figure out what's going on than waiting around assuming.

(And besides: It doesn't take much effort to collect the email address of each person who applied and say, "Sorry, you didn't get the position. Better luck next time.")

Isn't he more worried about who the Pirates beat writer is for one of the papers up there?

If you can't follow instructions for an ad, can you be trusted to follow orders once you're on the job.

all i know is when i applied, it was over 8 months before i even heard anything from tom. then, bam, he called, we talked and i was on my way to birmingham within two weeks...so patience (and no phone calls) is rewarded...

As long as it's only one... if it gets to be... oh, say... four, then give the game up.
