    I thought that was Poindexter.

In a regrettable fit of nostalgia, I bought the 1990 Shining Moment from iTunes thinking Ball State's Sweet 16 run would be well represented.

It wasn't ... and now I have the idiotic sub-Christopher Cross song in my iTunes to show for it. Not one of my shining moments.

    No, but a typical one...

It really is god-awful. A horribly bad song.

  5. My best friend is a high school basketball coach, and he still gets goosebumps every year when they play this afterward. I love the guy, but what a cheese ball.

How they can continue to foist this garbage on American in 2009 is beyond my wildest comprehension.

Bo Kimble's one-handed free throw always chokes me up.

OK, I need help with the 1988 video. It's driving me crazy - who is the coach throwing his hands in disgust at the 1:30 mark?

A good list, but I believe you forgot to list Mizzou's "One Shining Moment" ...

    Left-handed, one-handed.

    And, yeah. Every last time.

I'd forgotten that 1996 was back when I still kind of liked Kentucky. Epps and Walker and Mark Pope and those guys. Awesome.

Isn't that Stan Albeck of Bradley?
