I'm getting the sense someone is using the sarcasm font.

I actually liked Berman on the NFL highlight show. The show moved so fast through the highlights that even if Berman made a dumb joke, you didn't really notice it and his machine gun delivery was made for that kind of show.

Otherwise, Berman is like chewing on porcelain wrapped in aluminum foil.

I didn't mind him until the late 1990s. Then it stopped being about the games and the highlights and started being about him.

Would it be wrong to wish a permanent and severe case of laryngitis on Berman?

No. Because he won't die and nothing life-threatening or altering is at stake. It will only get his lard ass off the air and allow all of us to actually enjoy NFL highlights.

Right now, Kelly Clarkson comes to mind ...

    Poor taste.

    Period, end of report.

Kelly Clarkson should never come to mind. Ever.

    Point taken, though. :)

For all the shots taken in print at message board chatter - why do they seem to go out of their way to emulate it?
Besides Berman's lost 40 pounds on Nutrisystem, he's not going anywhere.
And you really don't want something like wishing someone ill-health in print or on-line.
Ask William Ayers or those who took shots at Tim Russert when he was alive.

That was a cruel thing to write even in a column.
    No reason for it.

    Heart attack? Like this guy?

(By the way, I'm referencing the character, not the actor. Didn't think of that at first.)
