The booking/writing continues to amaze me. And nobody is more to blame than Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

This sucks.
There was a column on WO.com today that was pretty interesting. Basically, the author presented major booking changes for WWE, TNA and some for UFC. Some of the highlights were eliminating house shows in favor or mini fan conventions to lessen the wrestlers' workload, have WWE and TNA do what UFC does and have these "infomercials" leading up to PPVs, and having your top wrestlers perform 3-4 times a year.

Yeah, I saw that. Had to laugh out loud when I saw the "wrestlers work 3-4 times a year" bit.

The guy made some sense, then shot himself in the balls with that crack.

Nobody is going to rise in anticipation at the thought of seeing HHH wrestle every three months. They'll just find a new hobby to waste their time and money on.

This JBL over the top crap is getting old already.

Six sets of pyro, complete with balloons TWO WEEKS IN A ROW!? How many times did he get on his knees for Vince?

The guy was just boring before. Now he's instant channel changer.

The midgets had me cracking up.

What saved the night, though, was Hardy's leap. That was a "holy shit!" mooment.

So Hardy has two Holy Shit moments in the last two weeks.

Yeah, he's not winning the title ... not like there was that much doubt.

The mini Kennedy (KENNEDY!) not being able to reach the mic was priceless.

Jeff Hardy is fucking insane. Good lord.

I'm getting scared for Jeff Hardy. If they make him jump on people from 20 feet in the air every week, just by the law of averages he'll kill himself one of these days.

I wonder what his insurance premiums are like.

Dare I say it, but it would have been even more awesome a spot if they had him bite a condom full of fake blood to give us the "internal injuries" fear.

But it was still a hell of a spot.

Anybody caught the broadcasts of the old UWF (no, not Mid-South, sadly) on ESPN Classic?

They're half-hour shows at 12 and 12:30 am. Great, craptastic 'rasslin from the early 90s.

Ivan Koloff, Don Muraco, Jimmy Valiant, Paul Orndorff, Bob Orton and a host of other washed-up former WWFers from back in the day.

Good for nostalgia if nothing else.

It looked like what Orton was laying on was a huge bed of styrofoam, painted black, just based on what was left after Hardy dove.

I'm not trying to denigrate what he did, though. That's fuckin' insane if you're doing it onto a fucking 10-foot-thick air mattress from that height.

I wonder how many years he took off his career by doing that. Not that he probably had many left anyway, after all those ladder matches.

Styrofoam or not, the first thing that crossed my mind was "That's one of the greatest falls in wrestling history."

So much could've really gone wrong with that swanton. Jeff could have landed on his head, or crashed into the stage. Plus, it's a 200+ pound man flying down from 20 feet. He could've killed Orton.

Ironically enough, I just watched the Mick Foley documentary the other day on A&E or some network about his hell in a cell match with Taker and his fall from the top of the cage . . . twice. Even with that in mind, Hardy is one crazy motha. And styrofoam or no styrofoam, that crash upon impact was sickening.

I caught some of it. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams beat the crap out of this guy, and the crowd kept urging the jabroni to get up and take more of a pounding. I guess this was when wrestling actually had no-name jabronis.

Also, did you notice the rare footage of Louie Spicolli? His nickname was "Cutie Pie.''
