They retired Aikman's number at UCLA today.

They could have used him. That was an embarrassment. I know Stanford has their number, but come on. You've still got an outside shot at the playoff. And you certainly are in the running for one of the big six bowls. and you play like that? At home? When you retire Aikman's number?

Soft is right. Ridiculous. Probably off to the Alamo Bowl. Zzzzzzz.

Stanford is still a very good, physical team.

And Hogan was a hero today. Too bad he was so inconsistent this season.

The way the Cardinal came back from the cluster bomb of a series (the penaltyfest) in the second quarter was some damn good football. A lot of teams would have imploded. Stanford rallied.

    Todd Graham's getting itchy feet.

Football is funny. Hokies guard has to slide to center when Wang hurts his leg. First snap into shotgun is good ...

... but the QB fumbles amid the chaos of the pocket.

There should be a Tech Series between Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and Texas Tech every year and the winner gets the Golden Microscope or some peculiar trophy.

Golden Colonoscope might be more appropriate. I like the idea.

Their sked is better than Starkville's.

Repeat. Did someone say repeat? Oh, yeah: Repeat SECE Champions. Twice in 3 years in the league.

Repeat: MU no one has more SEC wins the past 2 years. Not even your beloved Tide.

Repeat: MU has won 10 straight SEC road games.

They won they games they needed to win. Not sure what else they were supposed to do. To say it's a mirage is further proof of how inbred SEC fans can be.
