Won't happen. Florida State's golden as long as they win out.

I agree with the announcers ... Boston College had the 'Noles defense on its heels in a lengthy fourth-quarter drive, then they call that trick-play pass back to the QB. A gamble that failed, and a drive killer.

Jimbo beginning to rival Les Miles in the rabbit's foot department.

Yeah, I suppose never say never, but I really don't see any chance of that happening.

Yes. Meant you. That's what I get for typing quickly. Sorry about that!!

    But agreed. Gordon's fairly incredible.

Ya know, the further we get into this season, the more evident it's becoming that NO conference deserves more than one team. None. Go ahead and give the SEC credit (even though it shouldn't make any difference THIS season) for winning a bunch of NC's over the last decade. Give their champ an automatic pass into the playoff. Top to bottom, though, that conference just isn't superior this year. It just isn't.

Answer: The only unranked team to shut out ranked teams 2 weeks in a row.

    Question: Who is Arkansas?

Also first team to do it twice in a season since 1942 North Carolina Navy Pre-Flight.

That team was coached by Jim Crowley (of Notre Dame Four Horsemen fame), with Bear Bryant and Johnny Vaught as assistants.

    Steak, that's awesome.
Assuming it's Florida State-Oregon, what's the Ducks' spread? Minus 11?

Jameis Winston shoved the ref out of the way to get under center today. Mike Pereira says he should have been ejected:

Well, Mike's never made an error in his career -- as a commentator.

Before today's game, it would have been about 6 (using Sagarin numbers).

    Agreed.

If Missouri or Georgia wins the SEC championship game, then what?

I see the argument. It's at least 15. But if I'm thinking of crab legs ... or that woman ... or the autographs ... or the obscenities in the student union .... yup, see-ya.
