Did someone forget to tell Vogelsong it's the postseason? He's forgetting to turn on his special clutch magic.

It got lost at the airport.

Yep. 37 years old, approaching 200 innings (not his thing) and had a pretty bad season, and a bad matchup with a contact-hitting speedy team. Could be the end of his career.

His body language after Vargas got that deep liner lingered until he was pulled. What a stretch of hitting by the Royals. A 30-minute inning.

Vargas' strike zone seems to have tightened up since he went to first on ball 3.

One out, bottom of fifth, I think we are 2:19 into this one.

And the Royals' bullpen has turned human!

If it was a Yankees-Red Sox ALCS game, we'd only be in the top of the third.

Giants on their way to improving to 7-0 in postseason games started by Ryan Vogelsong.

Because it's been that kind of postseason... Royals win tomorrow, 2-1, and lose Game 6 before becoming World Champions in seven games.

Sorry to all Royals fans who were looking for them to drop the hammer tonight.
