    Sports editor – The Standard, located in Boonville, Indiana, is Warrick County’s source for news and sports. We are a weekly newspaper that is centered on bringing quality news coverage to our communities. The Standard is currently looking to employ a full-time sports editor.

    Job duties and expectations: The sports editor will be responsible for managing the content and creation of the weekly sports pages. Ideal candidates will possess an outgoing personality, the ability to generate story and photo ideas, and the ability to foster good, solid working relationships with coaches and players. Candidates should also be disciplined to adhere to deadlines and manage coverage for the sporting activities for three local high schools. Experience in pagination with InDesign is a plus.

    This is a full-time position with benefits and retirement package. The position is for 40 hours per week at $10 per hour.
