    According to Verne and the stat crew, today is the first time Ohio State failed to score a first-half touchdown since Oct. 15, 1911.

    Can that be right? Even Verne and Gary are doubting it.

    EDIT: OK, now Verne came back and said it was 2011. Subtle difference there.
