As impressive as the TexAMs were last night running past SC, I think I was more surprised how they were able to plow through the Gamecocks when they needed to. Figured the wide-open style of Mizzou and TexAM would shake-up the SEC, doesn't seem they have a problem playing grind-it-out as well.

I don't know if I've seen fewer people on the field when the game ends at an SEC game than I did in SC. Figure the glad-handers and hangers on had better things to do after the home team got stomped.

I'm a little surprised to see that in Bowling Green's trip to Bowling Green, Bowling Green is down 14-0 in the second quarter.

Villanova had a chance to beat Syracuse in regulation on a chip-shot field goal with 15 seconds left, but the kid shanked it hard right. Nova's not a bad FCS program, but that's not the kind of statement you want in your first weekend of #ACCtion (is that a thing? I assume it's a thing)

    Colorado-Colorado State heating up.

Is it odd for me to be watching these early games wondering how they will fit into the overall strength of schedule of the conferences?

No. WKU and UTSA are doing Marshall a favor tonight.

Go to hell, Colorado. I thought the Jon Embree days were over.

With some Les Milles-esque clock management by James Franklin.

Poor Central Florida. First QB sucks ass. Back-up kicks ass.

Knights work the whole game to take the lead for the first time with 70 seconds to play only to lose at the horn.

And, like Les, he pulled it out.
