You can dig up my thoughts on Stacy Graning elsewhere. You're warned.

Boone tells you all you need to know.

You're not going to make any money. You're going to be worked to death.

That is all. I guess par for this business.

    Fuck. Boone.

Typing that is more therapeutic for me than it should be. Their purchase and general micromanagement of the last paper I was at was the death nail for my time in this industry.

Four-lane U.S. highway from Montgomery to Troy and then from Troy to Dothan on to Panama City.

It's barren but it ain't a 2-lane winding road to get there. Get off of U.S. 231 and you're in the weeds, though.

If you're coming from Mobile up I-65, it definitely is about 60 miles of windy-ass two-lane highways to get to Troy.

Here is a warning: OBEY THE SPEED LIMIT. There is zero tolerance for speeding through Troy on 231.

Not if you take US 84. 4-lane all the way.

Since when? The one time I drove that route, in 2008, it was 2 lanes all the way from Waynesboro, Miss., to the I-65 exit at Evergreen. And I don't recall seeing much evidence that they were going to 4-lane it any time soon.

I guess we're both right. Looks like about half of it is 4-lane between Evergreen and Dothan.
