    This is a far cry from most coaches were being paid 6 figures to write a weekly column.

    Maybe he's thinking of a player-written weekly column.
    David Cone did such a thing for years.

    Yeah, I don't think Glanville was even making five figures for his deal. He was doing it for the PR.

    I think he only did it in the playoffs, but I was thinking of this too.

    Have see similar "diaries" from players in the playoffs. And, I think one of the women on the USWNT did one during the World Cup.
