You may know that we have an ASE opening http://www.sportsjournalists.com/forum/threads/99875/

Now, we're looking for a Phillies beat writer to create content for us and a group of our Gannett South Jersey sister papers.

Professional baseball beat writing experience and a strong digital background is required. We're looking for somebody who can excel far beyond the "gamer and notes." We have the wire for that.

Instead, we need enterprise and great story telling about a team that has plenty of story lines (GM on the hot seat, lack of talent, Jonathan Papelbon).

We travel with the team, though that may change/decrease after the trade deadline.

E-mail resume and clips to Sports Editor Jason Levine at jlevine@delawareonline.com. No phone calls, please.

Congrats to Meghan Montemurro, formerly of the Northwest Herald (McHenry Co., Ill.), for landing the Phillies beat position.
