Best on air mistake ever?

    This is close on a journalism topics call, but I think it's OK.

    ESPN just did a feature on English tennis -- and the underscoring music was the GERMAN national anthem. All the way through.

    I know the English and Germans have always had a cozy relationship, but still ...

    I don't know what either sounds like. But I have a feeling the German anthem is very distinct.

    Yeah...I'm not missing some irony or something there, am I? It wasn't on purpose, was it? I know it's Reilly, but none of us in the office noticed why they'd do it intentionally.

    Ah, OK...I'm kind of relieved. I thought there was some weird reason they'd play the German national anthem under a piece about England, some Reilly-ism or something.
