    "while maintaining their independence" my ass. NASCAR doesn't stop trying to shoehorn LEGITIMATE media, let alone Joe Blogger.

    Of course, that's assuming many NASCAR fans can read and write, which may be an overly generous assumption.

    "Providing access"? You mean the 10-minute hauler gangbangs and team/driver PR gestapos who specialize in saying no? And the governing body that wouldn't reveal what sauce Mayfield was on by saying "it's not relevant to the public interest"?
