Kirby not so Smart. That could very well come back to haunt him.

Now that the Fansville campaign has become self aware, can we send it to live on a farm upstate?

As a Yankee neutral, that's a cool matchup by me.

Cincinnati won by only 15. Is that going to pass the “eye” test?

And of course my flight to London is delayed. Delay this sumbitch to 11:30 so I can watch this game.

If it hadn’t been for freaking Duke, Alabama would be halfway to beating two No. 1 teams in the same day.

I’d be stunned if they don’t make it. I’m guessing it’s

    1. Michigan
    2. Alabama
    3. Cincinnati
    4. Georgia

Do you bump a team that won a conference title for one that not only lost to that team but didn’t play a conference title game? I’m sure there are some who are trying to figure out how to spin that.

There is no way ANYONE can justify leaving Cincinnati out now, even as corrupt a group as the CFP.

Too bad it's not an 8-team playoff. I would love to see Utah get a shot the way it has played the last 10 weeks, once it figured out who should play QB. And as much as I despise Baylor, it can D up with anyone.

But instead an SEC team with no real eye-popping wins, an easy schedule and a 17-point beatdown in a championship game played in its back yard will get a mulligan. I'd love to see Pitt or Wake absolutely carve up Georgia's secondary like Alabama did, and Stetson Bennett would be holding a clipboard at Wake, Pitt, Cincy or Alabama and probably at Notre Dame and Utah too.

I'm not sure who deserves the No. 4 spot (if Michigan wins) more than Georgia. But there are several who deserve it just as much.
