Tomorrow's first pitch to that dude should be right at his fucking hip. Bro, you want hit by a pitch, here it is.

In this case, the 2-out walk seems more important than the RBI.

Haniger worked Berrios hard to get that 2-out walk.

Without Haniger sleepily working a guy who pitched 6 innings of 0-hit 0-walk 12-strikeout ball last time out, some dude named Ty France doesn't get his 51st career RBI.

Ron and Keith have never been homers. Makes it a consistently great broadcast.

Yep. Conforto needs to wear one tomorrow for that bush league shit.

I know they've never had the rep as homers, but the Mets broadcast crew deserves kudos for their criticism of the call even though it benefited their team.

If Ken Harrelson had been the Mets announcer today, he would have accused the Marlins pitcher of headhunting.

I'd hate it less if he wasn't wearing castle-forged steel on his elbow.

I'm listening to the Cardinals radio broadcast on the MLB app as background noise while I work. Mike Shannon sounds like your old, drunk uncle at Thanksgiving. He'll say something not really funny and laugh at it. He also forgets things and mispronounces names with John Rooney bailing him out frequently.

I know he's a legend there, but jeez he's tough to listen to.

The teams are actually off tomorrow but will resume their series on Saturday. Gonna be real interesting to see what happens then. I'm not particularly confident that the off day will cool passions sufficiently. If the Marlins announce a new starter -- some poor patsy just promoted from the alternate site -- as Saturday's hurler, we'll know what's up.

Off tomorrow, but might not happen Saturday, either. He'll get plunked, but retaliation seems delayed in recent years.
