Good: Watching my hockey team on national TV ... third time in six days.
Better: Petr Mrazek back in goal after thumb injury and surgery ... on the second anniversary of a playoff-clinching win with Mrazek in goal to snap a decade-long postseason drought.
Best: Listening to John Forslund on the call – again.

What has happened to St. Louis? Watched them last night and the Blues were throttled by Vegas.

Looks to me like STL might have a tough time making the playoffs with its schedule. IIRC, they've already played all the San Jose games.

Just looking at their roster quickly, I see on D:
Krug hasn’t done what he did in Boston
Parayko has missed half the season
    Pietrangelo is gone

    Up front:
    Tarasenko has been out/not productive
    Thomas has been out/not productive
    Bozak has been out/not productive
    Hoffmann hasn’t been great

I haven't watched any of the Blues this year. I saw that Ville Husso was in goal last night, and looking at his numbers this season. ... 3.58 GAA, only an .883 save percentage. That isn't gonna help.

The Ducks beat them twice in St. Loo last week. That should be all you need to know.

Not related, but the Islanders have a defenseman named Sebastian Aho. ... he's not the forward who plays for Carolina. ... apparently this Aho played a bunch of games a few years ago, but I have no memory of him. When I saw his name in a boxscore, it really screwed me up.

For a good chunk of the 80s there were two Greg Adams(es) in the league. Both guys were left wingers from B.C. Probably politically too, given they were from B.C.

I believe it was “Gus” who played at Northern Arizona, which briefly had a D1 program.

    Interesting, I had no idea.

Looking at their DB pages I see they both actually played for the Maine Mariners, although not at the same time. Unless hockeydb has them mixed up.

I hope they played in the Adams Division.
