Can we talk about what a horseshit job Nantz did down the stretch last night, from continuing to talk about this “greatest rebuild” without referencing WHY it needed to be rebuilt to not, after a fucking year of this, wearing his Goddamned mask properly. Good news for him is half the audience had tuned out by this time and didn’t care.

What do you expect from Nantz? He asked Flacco just one question, crappy one too, after the Ravens won the Super Bowl.

Baylor exposed Timme. He looked slow and awkward. He was a step and a half behind most of the game, if not more.

I think Baylor beats Gonzaga 7 out of 10 times.

How many years until Baylor has to vacate the title?
And I do love the "from the ashes" storyline, though I doubt people want to bring Dave Bliss up or teammates killing teammates in all of this.

    Elgin Baylor dies ...

Gonzaga was outrebounded 38-22 and by 16-5 on the offensive glass. That's an almost foolproof formula for a bad loss (or a big win from the Baylor POV).

Baylor beat down Gonzaga like Gonzaga beat down USC

I honestly think Nantz doesn't do a bad job in the early rounds, but by the Final Four, and especially by the championship game, his mind has one foot out the door and is en route to his happiest place, Augusta National.

Could not agree more. It's a "voice of CBS" ego play more than anything to keep doing the Final Four.
