    Upright and alert and smiling as he is wheeled off the court. Quite a relief. He wasn't moving at first.
    He's Bert Smith, the 10th-rated official according to KenPom.

    He looked good on the stretcher, but the fact he dropped straight to the floor with no instinctive move to break his fall deeply concerns me.

    The fact that he fell to the floor with no instinctive move to break his fall but was conscious only a couple of minutes later pleasantly shocks me. I was afraid we had just seen a man die on live national TV. I was somewhat encouraged when I did not see anybody performing CPR immediately.
