It’s minuscule for the house. Poker is a very limited game for the casino on revenue. It takes a rake from each pot.

Let’s say that you have a full poker room. Four tables at once. That means you probably have one decision every 90 seconds. (3 minutes per table).

If they’re paying 5/10 Hold Em, maybe you get $5 a minute and that’s a high-end game on weekdays. $300 an hour when it’s full.

Most casinos may take 3-5% of a pot and that’s only if there’s a flop.

The most profitable casinos per square foot are the places in Vegas like Dolly’s. They’re all over town. Only slots. Or the Stage Door on Tropicana. And they rake it in.

I bought a $20 ticket on UCLA to win the tournament. At 750 to 1...

I have to put another taste on the Oregon State ML today ... it's just the right thing to do and good karma.

Wondering when is the last Elite 8 day when the two men’s games had bigger spreads than the women’s games.

That was not a helpful end to my Houston spread bet.

That was a very helpful end to my Oregon State +9 spread alternative that I had in a bankroll builder parlay. Great moment in gambling history. And yes, the other two parts hit.

As for the Beavs, great run. Made a decent amount of capital on them this month.

Amen. Hit my $1000 parlay on them with the win over Loyola.

First time in my life, after a night watching the beavers, I woke up the next morning with more money and not less.

FanDuel is giving you a free $10 same game baseball parlay today. Of course I forgot to juice the odds on mine to past +400 so I guess I have two parlays running now. Ugh. At least one is a freebie and the other one (Indians -1.5, Bieber +8.5K, Rosario 1 hit) is fairly likely to hit.

Twins 5-2. Middle of the 9th. I see the Brewers at +1100 and I had a $10 free bet I had to use today.

Not a bad way to open the season.

Loaded up a bunch of free money on Gonzaga to win it all; so now I'm spreading some coin on Baylor +4.5. Also found a boost at FanDuel to +200 on 183+ points, so took that plus a position on under 183.5 for small arbitrage but a chance to win both. An 83-80 or 82-81 Zags win would be just swell.
