I wanted to go to his home in Key West, but it’s filled with cats, descendants of his 6 toed cat. I’m allergic. Great location in Key West.

I recently read “The Snows of Kilimanjaro and other stories”, truly enjoyed reading just about every short story. And I read To Have and Have Not, having seen the movie dozens of times. Aside from the name of the book and protagonist, there’s almost nothing of the book in the movie. It was a much grittier story than the movie.

 

like it or not, know it or not, every journalist alive works in the wordworld that Hemingway invented.

 

I'm super pumped to watch this. If you've paid attention to pretty much anything I've ever said about myself on here, it shouldn't shock that I'm a Hemingway fan.
I regularly yell down the hall at our English teachers: "Fitzgerald couldn't carry Hemingway's fishing pole!"

 

I'm looking forward to this too. I wrote my Master's thesis on Hemingway's hunting stories.

 

I have through inheritance hanging on my wall two oil-on-plywood paintings, one of New Mexico and one of his family home, painted by Hemingway.

Hall Hemingway, that is - his mother. Such is life.

 

I've been wondering about Hemingway's six-toed cats. Are they tame or feral and can they be had?
