Alex Trebek/Jeopardy Tribute Thread

I'm old enough to remember when I thought Trebek was too slick to take over for Art Fleming. I mean, he did High Rollers, what a joke of a show.

 

I don't hate Katie Couric

 

I thought Trebek was a dick until the early 2000’s. I don’t know if he changed or I did.

 

Katie has been more than acceptable.

 

I didn't like Katie the first few shows. She's grown on me.

I still like the producer the best. All three so far have been more than fine.

 

The producer, Mike Richards, will be the host.

 

He should be. Never cared for Couric’s voice.

 

Couric has this overzealous pet-parent thing going on when contestants get answers right. I half expect her to throw them a dog biscuit for a correct answer. But she's not bad and has gotten steadily better, as I imagine most will. Early on it took her a while to say yes or no to answers. Her pacing has improved.

 

Do not like Couric at all in this role. Smarmy mom.

 

The Aaron Rodgers episodes will be bad. Really bad. I don't need a Cal guy telling me how smart he is.

 

Is there anywhere taking money on this? I'll throw down a few $$$.
