Don’t remember that. He was an assistant though.

As an aside, as a player some of his numbers are truly impressive. Four straight years of 30 goals and 200 PIMs. There can’t have been too many guys who have done that.

He was an assistant under Therrien 2.0, and was hired away.

Flames need Gallant badly. You can’t keep having to have Tkachuk go public every few games to stir up the compete level. Ward is not the kind of HC they need. Flames always hire the wrong coaches. When they have motivational coaches and good goalies, they win.

Jeff O'Neill gets out of bed ready to rip just about anyone.

He was the fun interview in the ESA postgame, especially after a bad loss. Not much filter.

Gallant has the best disclaimer of any sports figure’s article on Wikipedia.

Holy crap! I almost LMAO, but it didn't seem appropriate.

Brian Sutter, maybe? Just a guess. I'm too lazy to look it up.

Gary Roberts averaged that from 89 to 92, but he was below 30 goals two of those years (had 39 and 52 the other two).

Looks like Sutter topped 30 goals during a five-season stretch. He registered 200-plus PIM during three of them.
