It’s incredible how tone deaf he has come off so far. Basically still in denial.

Jeff O’Neill loves to rip him.

But he’s part of the club and he knows how to play the media in that club.

Wait wait wait. Ducks Nation is quick to post: Let's pick him up. (They say that for everybody who becomes available)

    Eakins isn’t the problem

He’s not exactly running the gauntlet to be sure.

I don't think so, either. They just have bad players. Their best players are not as good as the other teams' best players, line for line, D-pair for D-pair. Their fourth line might be middle of the pack in the league, but whoop-dee-doo.

Eakins, however, only gave Wonderboy Zegras (I'm being facetious, I really like the kid) 3 brief shifts in the second period on Monday. He said the game was too choppy with lots of penalties to both in that period and he didn't want to expose Zegras to that because of his lack of experience. Also, fourth-line winger Carter Rowney got hurt, so they were shuffling lines, double-shifting wingers. In that period, the Ducks scored early to make it 3-0, then blew the lead to the Coyotes. Their offense went dead and they lost, 4-3.

Not saying Babs is innocent, but Commodore is a moron.

Granted he isn't the most objective observer of all things Babcock

VGK-SJS game Thursday off. Sharks player entered covid protocol. Sharks were scheduled to practice today, but the practice facility has been closed.

Would Gerard Gallant be a good fit with Montreal? I have no idea. Just asking.

I don’t see Bergevin hiring a HC who can’t speak French.
