So the 1-2 picks of 2015 were cut
The 1-2 picks of 2016 were traded
The 2 pick of 2017 is a free agent
    Finding QBs isn’t easy

Thanks for sharing, TSP. Man, that's a long piece. Will try to pick back up on it later.

Watson to Denver seems to be gaining strength.

Yeah, Tyler Dunne likes to write Russian novels. There's a summary article on Yahoo and I'm sure other places, but I wanted to post directly to the original. Dunne had another long article about Robinson a couple months ago totally praising him, so I see why Robinson felt comfortable talking to him about this.

tl;dr version -- Robinson says pay me, Bears haven't responded

    How do trades "gain strength?"

To even get to the point of talking about it, you've got to clear most of the hurdles (ie, figure out salary cap effects, clear it with players/agents involved), so in the end it pretty much comes down to the two GMs -- or owners -- involved. At some point either they make the deal or they don't.

If this offseason has told us anything it's that people are really stupid when it comes to believing rumors put out there by teams trying to drive up/down prices. I don't believe anything unless Schefter or Rapoport is reporting it. Everyone else is to some degree full of shit.

This goes especially for bloggers, including the Eagles asshat who said the Bears were about to trade two firsts and Tarik Cohen for Wentz. Turns out the Bears never even made a fucking offer.

How can you tell an NFL GM is lying during draft/free agency season?
