Running 2021-22 CFB Thread

    Somehow I missed this news yesterday.

    Yeah, they had a grad transfer from Boston College who looked much better when they put him in late last season. They also have Ty Thompson coming in, who is supposed to be one of the top high school QBs in the country.

    I tip my hat to Shough -- he graduated in three years and is transferring with three years of eligibility left. That's impressive.

    It's going to be interesting to see what kind of a staff he can put together this late in the day. OTOH, Gus is set financially and could afford to take less money so that UCF would have more funds available for hiring assistants. From UCF's perspective, this is a home run hire.

    Well UCF is paying him $2.3M/annually, which is damn good for G5, and he had enough money to hire his DC, who had just taken a job with Miami.
