But hey, he got more votes in Miami-Dade than he did in 2016, so.....

    The Worst President in History

Because it wouldn't be a proper burial for this thread without one more Sarah Cooper tweet.

I suspect he never led Clinton in any head-to-head matchup, either.

He always led, however, in many states whose electoral vote tallies are higher than their population justifies. And that is the great equalizer.

So making it hard as fuck to vote (mail) for his critics hurt Trump? I think the people who never bothered to vote this time because they couldn't is a larger number than people think. We assume that everyone who was against Trump just did the mail-in thing? I'm not making that assumption.

Yeah, I think there's an argument to be made that the virus also fired up the Republican base to some degree. There were lots of angry people who didn't like lockdowns and masks and considered governors' emergency powers a form of tyranny. The BLM protests and riots fired them up, too. Those folks might be a reason why the Dems lost seats in the House. If there's less emotion on the GOP side, I think their turnout ends up low, while the Dems still would have rallied to oust Trump. Just a thought.

Spot on. I know many people who excuse his behavior. They say, “look what he’s done for the economy.”

What he “did for the economy” is the equivalent of coming in to pitch the seventh inning when your team is up 12-1.
