Rumours that Trump Bedminster will lose the 2022 PGA. I would think they would want to announce the new venue at the same time.

Valhalla seems dependent on the PGA for its profile. I could see it being the choice.

Well, considering the PGA owns Valhalla, that’s probably accurate.

I wasn’t sure if that was the relationship.

I’m glad the PGA moved to May. Looking at the coming courses, it still feels like US Open Lite.

Two interesting notes. When Rocco lost to Tiger in the playoff (2008), he was rocking a Peace sign belt buckle. Now he has a Trump bag.

Seth Waugh is head of the PGA. In his most recent life he was the CEO at Deutschbank and very connected to the Trump loan facilities.

Valhalla appears to be up in 2024, so 2022 may be too soon, though here's an idea that they won't do: How about we give Harding Park a do-over and see what was a great venue, with a gallery?

Wouldn't the path of least resistance just be to move it over to Baltusrol or Liberty National or Bethpage?

Probably. Oak Hill ('23) and Baltusrol ('29) are in the pipeline. I can certainly see that, though I don't know if they gain or lose anything by moving it 100 miles or 1000 miles.
