No models on the show for him to fuck (and fuck with).

It’s time for Drew Carey to take a nice, long vacation.

At the end of Jeopardy! today was this graphic:

    Alex Trebek
    Forever in our hearts
    Always our inspiration

I thought that was pretty sweet.

Meanwhile... today was Alex’s last show. Got a little dusty at the end.

Just a classy tribute. Would have been nice if they'd put a little half-hour show together with some stories and interviews, but the turnaround and the circumstances (over the holidays, pandemic) and the fact that it's syndication probably made that impossible.

That graphic/message has been running each night, at the end of each episode, since he passed away. (Regular watcher here). I'm guessing tonight will be the last night of it.

When he was first diagnosed ABC did a big thing on him with Robin Roberts. Really glad he got the victory lap.

I read his book "The Answer Is" over the holiday and thought it was really good. I could actually believe it was written by him, which many of those books aren't. Solid storytelling, some laughs and stuff I hadn't heard before, yet it still made me sad. I haven't made peace with him being gone, as strange as that sounds for a guy I didn't know.

I made peace on Monday with his let's all come together on COVID talk. I was sad tonight. My friend said, 'don't cry,' and I did for a second. But he's left the show in a great place. RIP Alex.

He ended with, “We’ll see you next week.” Safe to assume he didn’t know it was his last show?
