Recall his first wife died around the time Aaron hit 715. And a friend reminds me he lost a son in a helicopter crash in the 80s.

I like that they included that his batting average was the lowest of all inducted HoFers - it's like my grandfather (RIP) wrote the caption.

It's the lowest among outfielders. Ray Schalk has the lowest career average among MLB hitters in the Hall with a .253 average, followed by Killebrew at .256 and Rabbit Maranville at .258.

MLB has told clubs that the AA and A-ball seasons will start late so they can implement a COVID-friendly two-tiered Spring Training. Not ideal, but I also think there may be no greater sports hell than Midwest League games in April.

Don't change the rules during games.

Adopt the HS/college version of the DH that removes the requirement that the DH must hit for the pitcher.

Maranville doesn’t deserve to be in the Hall. He had a great glove, though.

    That's an unimpressive return, no?

I wonder if they asked for Nimmo or Conforto

I know Lindor is due to be a free agent after the 2021 season, but yeah, that's not nearly enough for him and Carrasco.
