One of the best bowl games of the year will be tomorrow night in the Alphabet Soup Bowl.
BYU v. UCF could be a race to 80.
I think the Cotton Bowl will be the best game out of all of them.
I'm looking forward to Ole Miss-Indiana as well.
Bet a lot on North Carolina (+6).

Why the fuck would anyone watch South Carolina or Mississippi State, including Gamecocks or Bulldogs fans?

RB Jaret Patterson could be the next big name MAC player in the NFL

IU fans have bitched enough about the bowl assignment, but gotta go win the damn game. Gotta think Tom Allen vs. Lane Kiffin is a mismatch.

Yes, it's because most of their teams have opted out ... but is there any reason for West Coast fans to watch this slate of bowl games?

Oregon, San Jose State and (I guess) Colorado are the only teams I see on the list. I suppose you could pull for Hawaii and Nevada if you're desperate.

Between the late start, the number of COVID cancellations and the region's less-than-rabid college football fandom before this year, the Pac-12 really could have skipped this season.

Can we get odds now on one or more games being postponed or cancelled for Covid, or that one team lets a couple key guys play despite testing positive and the head coach swears he had no idea?

Arizona Bowl takes over the Sun Bowl's slot on CBS. Forget Guy Lombardo, it isn't New Year's Eve without Verne Lundquist.

    Yeah, I'm old.

Apparently, you don't understand something that ESPN figured out a long time ago: people will watch live sports programming, especially football and especially during the holidays -- or at least enough to make it economically viable. They prop up the lower 10-15 bowl games as commercial inventory, heavy on the CFP semifinals. The hue and cry over "too many bowl games" ignores the reality that there will always be teams to play in those games (under normal circumstances) and they will always be televised. If they lost money, they'd go away.
